Maintenance Readiness Program

Led the development of a complete maintenance readiness program for a major mining project, ensuring the site was prepared for safe, reliable operations from day one. The program included:

  • asset hierarchy development,

  • equipment criticality assessments,

  • maintenance strategies,

  • preventive maintenance routines,

  • critical spare parts identification,

  • and enterprise asset management (EAM) data preparation.

To accelerate delivery, AI-enabled tools were deployed to process engineering documents and equipment data. This effort significantly reduced manual effort while improving data quality and consistency. The effort effectively processed large volumes of technical information into a structured, ERP-ready maintenance program that established the foundation for long-term reliability and operational performance.

Digital Strategy for Operational Technology

Contracted to a regional mining company to assess its operational technology landscape, and overall digital maturity. The organization had invested in multiple technologies but lacked a clear roadmap linking those investments to business outcomes such as productivity gains, and cost reduction.

Conducted an enterprise-wide review of maintenance processes, IT/OT systems, data architecture, and enterprise systems. Working with the client’s stakeholders, identified opportunities to deliver value through:

  • consolidation of technologies and tools

  • one data platform as a source of truth

  • integrating AI tools into workflows

  • leveraging OT technologies such as AVEVA PI

  • prioritize investments based on a value framework

The result was a practical digital transformation roadmap aligned to corporate objectives. This effort launched an enterprise transformation program built on an understanding of business requirements.

Launchit was brought in to help the client with extract data from their engineering documents in order to accelerate their data management. They built a custom tool that was able to:

  • Extract information from engineering documents

  • Pull titles, ID tags, BOMs

  • Automatically create structured spreadsheet with confidence ratings for review

  • Create GANTT charts, invoices, work orders
