Jahan Kargar

Founder & Partner

Jahan Kargar is a senior advisor with more than 20 years of experience helping industrial organizations improve reliability, operational performance, and business outcomes. His career spans mining, utilities, manufacturing, and professional services, where he has led large-scale asset management, maintenance readiness, digital transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.

Jahan was most recently a Director in Deloitte’s Smart Operations practice, previously holding leadership roles at Weir Minerals and General Electric. He is known for delivering programs that improve asset reliability, reduce operating costs, and enable sustainable growth. His experience includes leading a maintenance readiness program for one of Canada's largest mining projects, developing global digital asset management platforms, and advising executives on operational strategy, technology adoption, and organizational transformation.

Through Kardan Partners, he works with clients to apply practical AI solutions that automate workflows, improve asset information, streamline maintenance processes, and enable better operational decision-making.

Jahan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science in Finance from the University of London, and is a Certified Energy Manager.
